    A small lizard scurries up

Post  JMKoontz on Sun Mar 15, 2009 11:49 pm

A small lizard scurries up and sits in the middle of the porch. It seems very skiddish and looks like it is about to bolt several times, but always seems to stop just before doing so. Every now and then it raises a small claw and scratches at the thong tied about its midsection that appears to be holding a small paper.

    HG,
Any chance of a bed for a weary wanderer?
Plus I have a friend you should meet.

Moss notices a small greenish shape on the porch and looks more closely. "Heh...looks like our friend from last fall has a guest...with a note?" Reaching into her pouch, the elf pulls out a tiny bit of dried meat and places it near the door, coaxing the small lizard patiently.

if shine can get the note from the lizard she writes the following reply

"I don't think there will be any issue with that. You know you're always welcome.

    --Shine"

she then reattaches the note and gives the lizard a bit of jerky before letting it loose again.

Though it seems intrigued by the meat, the small critter does not partake. Rather it scurries off once released.
